Every PlayStation Plus Free Games for March 2021

After the launch of PS5, there is no doubt that PlayStation Plus has started to make everything even much greater. And this month, its players will amaze much more after they find out PS Plus offering more games than usual. That’s right. it usually provides its fans two, or maybe three games sometimes, with their subscription. But in March, PlayStation Plus will be releasing literally 5 games!

With the pandemic and lockdowns beginning, many game companies have started to provide tons of offers to gamers, in order to make them stay at their homes safe and sound without getting bored. Sony was also among those companies and stepped forward with an initiative called Play at Home, offering free games. And now, it seems there will be access to free games again, including additional entertainment products this time, remaining for four months this time. On the other hand, Sony also announced it will offer 5 free games on PlayStation Plus games in March which will be available until April 5, 2021. So let’s take a closer look at the games, shall we?

Final Fantasy VII Remake | PS4

Final Fantasy’s remake offers a modern reimagining of its iconic RPG characters along with epic battles which will most likely blow your minds away in a good way. The game recalls you to the city of Midgar as Cloud Strife. We left Strife as a member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit, but now it seems he became mercenary and he helps out resistance group Avalanche. On the other hand, Cloud and his comrades also seem unaware of the epic consequences that await them as they execute daring raids against Shinra to fight back against its planet-threatening machinations.

The story of this first, standalone game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake project goes much deeper into the events occurring in Midgar than the classic original. But don’t forget that the PS4 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake available to PlayStation Plus members is not eligible for the PS5 digital version upgrade, unfortunately.

Remnant: From the Ashes | PS4

As an action role-playing, third-person shooter game, Remnant: From the Ashes is offering dynamically-generated worlds while you or your friends up to two venture into one of the last remnants of humanity and attempt to retake the world overrun by monstrous, interdimensional invaders. You will be scavenging for supplies and modding your equipment to strengthen your chances of survival when tackling over 100 deadly varieties of the enemy and battling epic bosses.

Maquette | PS5

This recursive simulation first-person puzzler will make its PlayStation 5 debut as part of next month’s PlayStation Plus lineup. Maquette revolves in a world with different rules from ours, which will require you to twist the world recursively in order to solve puzzles. So you will be also seeing those changes mirrored in the surrounding life version of yours while manipulating the diorama’s landscape. And furthermore, you will also be able to call up PS 5’s Game Help for hints to solve if you get stuck on a puzzle.

Farpoint | PS VR

In this free-roaming, first-person PS VR shooter world, you will master an armory of weapons to stay alive among aliens. It is possible to play the game whether with the PlayStation VR Aim controller or with a DualShock wireless controller. You will be trading alien threats for testing each other’s skills in a variety of Versus game modes and striking out towards your crashed space station solo or with a friend in an online co-op.

So, this month’s lineup is actually an open buffet since it offers something according to any type of player. Sony really does its best to provide content for its players and subs as a gracious host. Even if many may have already played Ratchet and Clank, it’s still a nice offer to serve those who don’t have it but want to play before Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart releases. Sony knew how to win its players’ hearts at the end of the day, especially by bringing back the Play at Home Initiative that will stretch the summer months, running at least through June.

To sum up, players will be getting 6 free games in March and PlayStation Plus also seems to continue after as well. Oddworld Soulstorm on the other hand is set to replace PS Plus’ Destruction AllStars as the PS5 launch game giveaway and another game will follow Ratchet and Clank as well. So, there can not be a better time to be a PS fan, can be?
