Seems like the sunny days are coming back for fans of the anticipated anime again after waiting for a really long seven years. Yes, the highly anticipated Hunter x Hunter may be finally coming soon to continue where it left. So here are the latest updates of it along with its Netflix release date and details of what’s ahead of us. As you all know Hunter x Hunter is based on the manga from 1998 by Yoshihiro Togashi. It aired from 2011 to 2014 and kept its fans waiting since then as neither the manga nor anime series haven’t made it till their ends as well. And now, it seems like this long-lasted craving finally comes to an end.

What was Hunter x Hunter about?

Not that for you don’t know, but a little fresh-up might be good for all of us and for those who still haven’t met this beloved shounen anime. The series follows a young boy named Gon, who wants to be a Hunter like his father Ging. Gon doesn’t know his father, so he probably hopes that becoming a Hunter may put him on the same path with his father. But he also knows being a Hunter isn’t just that simple, despite it’s full of dangers. There is a chance of dying too even before could really be one as well if he fails the Hunter exam. And there is no need to talk about the competitions he would have to face along the way, I guess.

But soon enough, he befriends three other Hunter candidates, Kurapika, Leorio, and his soon-to-be best friend Killua, during the exams and builds a really strong and beautiful friendship with them along the way. So this quartet joins their power among all and improves their skills that are necessary to become who tracks down exotic creatures, captures villains, and more as lethal and elite professionals.

When will Hunter x Hunter Season 7 come back?

The update comes from Megumi Han and Mariya Ise, who are best known for their work on Hunter x Hunter voicing Got and Killua respectively in the 2011 anime. This past week, they have got the whole fans buzzing by hitting up the social media with some posts. Megumi Han teased over her Instagram that she was beginning work on recording “that project” with her “partner” after a long hiatus. And after Han said she was returning to a special starting point, things also got only more curious when Ise hit up Twitter following her.

I’m home. I met my homie at this place. Yes, it was the recording of that piece. My origin. I think I’ll be able to inform you soon,” Han says. So of course, Hunter x Hunter is the first thing that comes to mind, but the question remains what project could rope both of these actresses in. But on the other hand, it is also known that the manga is still far from finished as well. So some fans are expecting there might be a Hunter x Hunter game on the way which could also require sounds of Han and Ise. But no matter how, the fans seem they will be happy anyway as long as the stars are returning for the series somehow. As a result, it seems we have to wait a little bit more until Han will inform us of what piece they are working on. But as we wait, the expectations of fans are really high for Hunter x Hunter to pick up where it left off and should it come back this year, eventually.
