‘Loki’ is Officially Coming to Disney+ in Summer 2021

Disney has officially announced the release date for Loki!  Loki’s first solo production, one of the most original “villains” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to Disney+ this summer! British actor Tom Hiddleston will once again bring the god of mischief, to life with the series.

For those who do not know, let’s remind; Loki went missing in Avengers: Endgame by taking the space stone. Therefore, in the TV series, we will see the god of mischief in different parts of the universe and in different time periods.

What is the Synopsis of ‘Loki’?

Loki, one of the most famous heroes of the Marvel universe, is coming to screen. The showrunner seat of the adaptation is by Michael Waldron, the screenwriter of “Rick & Morty”. Tom Hiddleston, who is integrated with the character, is expected to take the lead role. The series, which will focus on Thor’s brother is one of Marvel’s villains, also known as the god of mischief, has no clear information about where and what fight we will see in the Marvel universe. However, the first trailer of the series, in which we had an idea of ​​what could happen in the 6-episode series, was already released.

Who are the cast members of Loki?

Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sophia Di Martino will accompany Tom Hiddleston in this new project. We also know that another British actor, Richard E. Grant, will take part in a role that has not yet been officially announced. Rumors stated that Grant would only appear in one episode of the show.

Michael Waldron was the executive producer and screenwriter of the series with Kate Herron. Although the filming of the series started in January 2020, it was stopped in March as part of the pandemic. Now the official release date is here! One of the most sympathetic villains in the world of cinema will appear on Disney + screens again.
