Mastodon shares new single “Fallen Torches” from upcoming album
Mastodon shares this Friday their new single “Fallen Torches” from the upcoming stuff. This song also the compilation titled “Medium Rarities” release on September 11th, 2020.
On yesterday, the Mastodon band announced a new single and reveals teaser pointed July 31st, Friday. And, their website shows the fans to “light the torch” by signing up for the upcoming news newsletter. When also signing up for this newsletter, the band sends a snippet of the tease from the upcoming song while the cover of a possible compilation album titled “Medium Rarities” also release on September 11th, 2020.
The progressive band latest album “Emperor Of Sand” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. That album was nominated for the 2018 Grammy Award for “Best Rock Album. Also, won the Grammy Award for “Best Metal Performance” for the “Sultan’s Curse” song.
Brann Dailor we know he as a drummer recently interviewed Metal Hammer about the Mastodon band’s upcoming album:
“It’s all over the map. There are some big, big heavy riffs that are happening, so that’s what I’m into. And then there’s some guitar gymnastics by Brent Hinds that have been some of the most difficult things I’ve tried to wrap my head around and play drums to.
Then Brann Dailor added:
So there’s some super-progginess coming from him, and some really super, pretty moments. But there are some rockers in there, too. There’s some heavy, fast stuff as well. But a lot of it is a kind of doomy. But that’s where we’re at.”
