Ozzy Osbourne talks about guitarist Tony Iommi “Intimidates” him
Ozzy Osbourne talks about Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi. He just makes an interview for Ozzy’s upcoming solo album, Black Sabbath 13’s and lots of more.
Osbourne ready and release soon his upcoming new album ‘Ordinary Man’ on February 20th. Also, Ozzy Osbourne announces the largest global tattoo sale and album listening event in more than 50 cities from around the world. Now, Ozzy joins the famous producer Rick Rubin’s “Broken Record” podcast program. During the interview, Ozzy discusses the Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi’s amazing talent. Also, mention the musician’s presence still “Intimidates” him.
First of all, Osbourne talks about his Black Sabbath’s bandmates:
“Geezer’s [Butler, bass] a great, great lyricist. [And as a bassist], nobody can touch him. Bill [Ward], in his day, was a great drummer. Tony [Iommi, guitar], he’s always gonna be the greatest — no one can touch him. And actually, to this day, I still don’t understand how he plays guitar, ’cause he’s got no fingertips; he plays with plastic fingers.”
Then he mentions his personal relationship with Tonny Iommi, they’re also longtime friends and more:
“People will say to me, ‘Why did you always sing on the side of the stage?’ I don’t fucking know. I don’t know. It’s just fear, I suppose. ‘Cause Tony, he’s one of the few people who could walk into this room right now and I would fucking feel intimidated. He intimidates the fuck out of me — and he knows it.”
However, we can’t know whats happen between Ozzy and Tony. But we know they’re still good friends. Ozzy Osbourne new album “Ordinary Man” release on February 21th, 2020. Check out here for the full interview.
