English musician PJ Harvey is making a documentary named A Dog Called Money.
Polly Jean Harvey as we know the stage name PJ Harvey, is a musician, singer-songwriter, writer, poet, and composer. Now she is making the production process of her 2016 album The Hope Six Demolition Project into a documentary. This documentary includes from her studio footage, the recording process and Harvey and Murphy’s travels in Afghanistan, Kosovo and Washington D.C for this album. Documentary director Murphy said in a statement: “Polly and I know and trust each other. Enough for her to travel with me to Afghanistan and other challenging places. And for me to believe she’d bring back the magic. She then invited me into a big white box behind one-way windows to film every moment of the recording of the songs she brought back. Individually and together, this is our response to what we encountered.”
PJ Harvey’s documentary A Dog Called Money will premiere in Berlinale 2019.
