Disney Plus has confirmed the release date of Disney+ original series The Mandalorian season 2. The Mandalorian’s season 2 release date is October 2020.
Disney Plus just shares release dates for their upcoming Marvel/Disney+ original series ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ and ‘WandaVision’. This series tells a story about from Star Wars, after the stories of Jango and Boba Fett. Disney‘s CEO Bob Iger didn’t share a certain release day for season 2. Now they are currently in the works from series creator Jon Favreau. October 2020 is the release date, however, we can expect very soon date we might have expected considering The Mandalorian season 1 premiered in November 2019.
What’s the synopsis of The Mandalorian?
Here’s the official description from Disney+:
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The series is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic.”
Also, the series starring Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte.
When is the season 2 release date of The Mandalorian?
Before we get into any details about the release date. We can share a few more knowledge about this series. Jon Favreau serves as executive producer and showrunner for the series. Also, season 1 directors include Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) directing the first episode, plus Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates) and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).
