WandaVision Season 2 Renewal Status and What We Know So Far

WandaVision season 2 probably coming in 2022 on Disney Plus. Elizabeth Olsen revealed that the new season is planning in her latest interview. She also hints that Doctor Strange 2 won’t continue the series story.

This is the first Disney+‘s MCU show, and it will start Phase 4 of the Marvel Universe on January 15th, 2021. It’s also going to set off a showroom of the year for the studio that will see Marvel releasing multiple shows and four movies in 2021. All will be in a traditional Marvel fashion part of the same related synopsis. So, WandaVision will lead into the Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, similar to the Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel.

Is WandaVision season 2 renewed?

We don’t know yet but Elizabeth Olsen answered some questions on Collider, “I guess the answer is that WandaVision could.”

Also, an earlier interview from Marvel’s Kevin Feige said that:

“There are some shows that have been built to further expand our storytelling and then go into features. We have already announced Elizabeth Olsen being a part of Doctor Strange 2. We’ve announced Teyonah Parris being part of Captain Marvel 2.

There are some shows that, while always interconnected, are being built with multiple seasons in mind. So it’ll vary the way a lot of I think great TV now varies, whether it’s a couple of years between seasons of “Game of Thrones” or “Stranger Things,” or one-off like – what did I just watch? – “Queen’s Gambit.” One of the fun things about streaming is the rules are loose, which allows for you to just follow creatively, where you want to go.”

What is the synopsis of the WandaVision series?

Here’s the official synopsis:

“It blends the style of classic sitcoms. This also with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)-two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives-begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.”
