Will ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 4 Be on Netflix in 2021?
Cobra Kai fans are still waiting, and there is very little time left for the new season! All the details you need to know are here.
As Cobra Kai fans all know, the first season premiered on YouTube Red back in 2018 before Netflix picked up the series in 2020. Being set after the Karate Kid film franchise, the Cobra Kai series focuses on Johnny Lawrence’s life. Is the new season, season 4 going to come out in 2021?
What is the synopsis of Cobra Kai?
Johnny Lawrence, now being in his 50s, works as a part-time handyman and lives in an apartment in Los Angeles. It has been said to be thirty-four years after his defeat in the 1984 All-Valley Karate Tournament, having fallen far from the wealthy lifestyle in Encino. The place mentioned is the place that had been allowed by his verbally abusive step-father, Sid Weinberg.
He and his ex-wife, Shannon Keene, have a son named Robby, but he left them both when Robby was born because his mother, Laura, died shortly before Robby’s birth. Also, Johnny never recovered from his breakup with Ali Mills, his high school girlfriend. The story’s development revolves around these primary relationships, which lead to being ultimately the product of Daniel and Johnny’s inability to move away from the past.

What happened in Cobra Kai Season 3?
In season 3, finally bringing Ali back into the fold which likely opened up some old psychological wounds for Daniel and Johnny, Season 3 of Cobra Kai took elements from 1986’s The Karate Kid Part II, which found Daniel traveling to Japan to continue his training. While Johnny deals with the emotional fallout from Season 2, Daniel looks like he will learn a potentially troubling secret about his late friend and mentor Mr. Miyagi.
The show’s creators Jon Hurwitz also had made a comment on season 3 saying; “Season 3 is definitely our biggest season. It’s a season of rebirth and regrouping for a lot of characters. And it’s a season where we look to the past to see our pathway to the future.”
