Attack on Titan Director Reveals What is the Difference Between Studios

Attack on Titan series 3D animation director Shuhei Yabuta revealed what is the difference between studios. This anime series moved WIT Studio to MAPPA.

This anime series fourth and final season is loading on December 7th, 2020 on some of the streaming platforms like Crunchyroll, Funimation, or HULU. Also, Attack on Titan‘s fans waiting for how the final outing has continued with the new studio MAPPA. While fans have had some concerns about the studio change. However, the staff behind the anime series have been doing their best for the final season.

For season 4 director Yûichirô Hayashi said that “With the start of the final season just around the corner, we were surprised by the overwhelming response to the released in May. ” And added, “It seems that we have taken on a big project… But there is no turning back now, so this year we have been working on it with the new team and recreating it through animation. Nobody knows how the manga will end. But we will be able to reach the climax of this great story. It may be the ‘end,’ but we still have a long way to go. So I hope we can enjoy it to the end.”

Also, series 3D animation director Shuhei Yabuta talked about what’s change after moving to another studio:

“WIT Studio is more like a traditional production studio. I don’t mean it in a bad way, I mean making plans and production details.

They work things out step by step and put in effort according to the procedure. Whereas MAPPA Studio is more flexible and adaptable depending on the situation. Although it may be imprudent at some point, we will always find an efficient way to achieve the desired results.”

Attack on TitanSeason 4 will premiere December 6 in the US and UK on Crunchyroll and December 7 on Netflix Japan. Watch the final season trailer below!
