Netflix confirms the Spanish series Elite for season 3

Netflix has renewed its Spanish teen drama Elite for season 3, which after a month since the series’ season 2 had premiered in September.

Netflix will keep the mystery going on Elite for next season. Also, cast member Ester Expósito announced the news with Netflix’s Twitter account last Friday. And then they revealing that Leïti Sène and Sergio Momo will join the cast for season 3. In this Twitter post from See What’s Next account, we got our first hint of the release date of Elite Season 3. Here’s the tweet about that: “#Elite has been renewed for Season 3! Actually, they’ve already finished filming the new episodes and they will hit Netflix in 2020.”

Elite season 3 release date, cast, and trailer

Elite’s season 1 hit Netflix in October 2018, while Season 2 came in September 2019. Now following these dates we may expect season 3 in summer 2020.

Here’s the official synopsis: 

When three working-class teens enroll in an exclusive private school in Spain, the clash between them and the wealthy students leads to murder. … The clash between those who have everything and those who have nothing to lose creates a perfect storm that ends in a murder. It also stars María Pedraza, Ester Expósito, Miguel Herrán, and Jaime Lorente, alongside Itzan Escamilla, Miguel Bernardeau, Arón Piper, and Mexican singer Danna Paola.

However, this series was created by Darío Madrona and Carlos Montero, who both co-wrote the series. Elite season 3 is coming soon to Netflix in 2020. Check out the cast reacts to their audition tapes below.
