Netflix’s second Turkish series The Gift trailer, release date, and synopsis

Netflix has released the official trailer for The Gift their second Turkish series with famous actors.

Now they’re coming back for another Turkish series release end of the month. In this series, we are going to the journey from Istanbul to Gobeklitepe and Nemrut, passing through Anatolia. That provides a connection between the spiritual world and the material world, the modern world and ancient World, exploring and transformation. The eight-episode mystery series cast also includes famous Turkish actors Beren Saat and Mehmet Günsür as a lead role. This series filming in Istanbul and continue in various cities of Southeastern Anatolia, primarily in Gobeklitepe.

What’s the release date and synopsis of The Gift (Atiye)?

Here’s the official description from Netflix:

The upcoming Turkish series follows the life of Atiye (Beren Saat) who is a young and beautiful painter and leads the perfect life in Istanbul. She has a loving family, a wealthy and lovable boyfriend (Mehmet Günsür), and to top it all off, she is about to open her first solo exhibition. But her perfect life is about to change with a discovery made in the most ancient temple on Earth, Gobeklitepe. An archeologist named Erhan discovers a symbol in the ruins, a symbol that connects Atiye to Gobeklitepe in a very mysterious way. After that, Atiye will turn her life upside down and spark a quest to discover the secrets of her past, secrets hidden within those ancient ruins.

The main cast also includes Metin Akdulger, Melisa Senolsun, Basak Koklukaya, Civan Canova and Tim Seyfi. Ozge Bagdatlioglu and Jason George who is also partnering with Nuran Evren Sit as a writer. Also, directed by Ozan Aciktan and Gonenc Uyanik.
