1. His Real Name Isn’t Pardison Fontaine
Pardi’s real name is actually Jorden Kyle Lanier Thorpe. During an interview with People, he shared how he came up with the stage name Pardison Fontaine. Originally, he went by the name Pardi McFly which was inspired by the popular movie Back to the Future. However, he decided to drop the McFly because he didn’t think it sounded professional enough. He told People, “I used to walk past this Anne Fontaine store all the time, and I didn’t know exactly what it meant or what it sold, but I just knew Fontaine sounded hella important.”
2. You May Have Heard One Of His Songs
As an artist, Pardi hasn’t gained a lot of commercial success, but he did have a pretty big hit in 2018 and you’ve probably heard it. His song “Backin’ It Up” featuring Cardi B. reached number 19 on the US Hip-Hop/R&B charts. It has also been certified platinum by the RIAA. On top of that, the video has nearly 170 million views on YouTube.
3. He Is A New York Native
