TOOL, METALLICA and SLIPKNOT Nominated for 2020 Billboard Music Awards

TOOL, METALLICA, and SLIPKNOT bands nominated for 2020 Billboard Music Awards. However, for this upcoming awards, Post Malone leads with 16 nominations.

For this year, there is less rock and metal genre bands or musicians got nominated. But Posty is nominated 16 times in 15 categories, and followed by first-time nominees Lil Nas X with 13 and Billie Eilish with 12 nominations. DJ Khalid and Billie Eilish got similar with 12 nominations.

METALLICA was nominated for Top Touring Artist and Top Rock Tour awards. Also, the TOOL band was among the Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Album nominees for their latest on “Fear Inoculum” album. However, this year Kelly Clarkson host for 2020. Billboard Music Awards 2020 will air live from The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on October 14th, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. ETC on NBC channel.
