Wacken Open Air festival 2020 first line-up, tickets, poster and dates

Wacken Open Air is known as one of the biggest metal festivals that held every year since 1990. Every year starts this week in the fields outside a German village north of Hamburg. This place is a cute little village which is called Wacken.

The festival was first held in 1990 as a small metal event with about 800 visitors and six local German bands. Now they’re calling the biggest heavy metal festival in the world. Also, in 2011 the festival attracted 80,000 festival visitors and 6,000 personnel for a total of 86,000 attendees. However, this number seems to increase gradually. And they’re celebrated 30th years for Wacken last weeks.

This open-air festival will be held at the 31st time. Wacken also changing and adding new things on the field. First, they’re transported from the pipes that go from the ground. Then, the festival main stages which were integrated with the slogans of the festival have divided as “Faster, Harder and Louder”. Also, they added e-sport tent, metal yoga and cooking experience with the black metal vegan chef.

Besides these beautiful things, they’re announced first bands for 2020. Here are the first bands: At the Gates, Amon Amarth, Beast In Black, Cemican, Death Angel, Hypocrisy, Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate, Nervosa, Sick of it All, Sodom and Venom.
