Maroon 5 is a pop-rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1994. The original members were vocalist Adam Levine, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden and drummer Ryan Dusick. When the group was originally formed, they were called Kara’s Flowers. The lineup has since changed, with Levine and Carmichael as the only remaining original members.
